These terms govern your use of Handover, operated by Bharath R (Bubbletech), Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

Handover helps landlords and tenants record a tenancy: agreements, inspection evidence, maintenance and deposit settlement. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice, and does not hold or transfer deposits.

AI-drafted reports

Condition reports, comparisons and suggested deductions are drafted by software from the photos you provide. They are suggestions. Each party must review and may change them before signing. You are responsible for what you sign.

Agreements and legal documents

Agreement, certificate and legal notice templates are drafts. Stamp duty, registration and other legal requirements depend on your state and tenancy. Take advice from a qualified advocate before relying on them.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and record only properties you are a party to.
• Do not upload images of people without their permission, or content that is unlawful.
• Keep access to your email account secure. Anyone with your sign-in code can act as you.

Payments

Prices are shown before payment and processed by Cashfree Payments. Refunds follow our refund policy.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the outcome of any dispute between tenant and landlord.

Suspension

We may suspend accounts used for fraud, harassment or unlawful activity.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
